We are once again on the search for the most romantic wedding proposal in Toronto.  Everyone loves a good tear jerking romantic proposal.  After all, what is the first question that your girl friends asked when you told them you're engaged?  How did he propose and did he get on his knee . . . after they check out your ring, of course.  Now you can share your romantic proposal and have a chance to win a free wedding dress or a $500 in-store Bridal & Beyond Gift Certificate.  All you have to do is sign up, post your wedding proposal and upload a picture of you and your fiancée. 

Once your wedding proposal is posted on our web site, you will be able to start collecting votes from other brides immediately. Each voter can only vote once per proposal, per email address, and per location.  In order to ensure all votes are valid and comply with the rules & regulations of the contest, all votes must be validated by clicking on the link provided by the automated email. Non-validated votes will not be counted towards your total number of votes.  Violation of the voting guidelines or the use of fake votes maybe subject to immediate disqualification. 

The first stage of the contest will end at midnight on October 1, 2009 at which point, the 4 brides with the highest number of audited votes will be selected to continue on to the Finals.  During the Finals, only the 4 finalists will be featured on the main page of The Most Romantic Proposal Contest and only the 4 finalists can collect votes. The total votes accumulated by the finalists during the first stage of the contest will be reset to zero at the start of the Final elimination round. The finalist that accumulates the most number of votes by midnight on October 8, 2009 wins the contest. During the last day of the contest, viewers can still vote but the total accumulated votes for the 4 finalists will be blacked out in order to maintain the anonymity of the winner until the official announcement on Feb 14, 2009.

The winning bride will have a choice between a free wedding dress (up to a maximum value of $800 regular retail price) or $500 in-store gift certificate to be used on wedding invitations, wedding favors, wedding accessories, wedding shoes, etc.  Rules for each prize is outlined below:

Free Wedding Dress

• Any wedding dress up to a maximum value of $800 in regular retail price
• Not redeemable for cash, credit, refund, or exchanges
• Any balance remaining will be forfeited and cannot be applied towards any other items
• No substitution of prizes are allowed
• All prizes must be redeemed by Feb 14, 2010

Gift Certificate

• $500 gift certificate to be used towards new in-store purchases (see below for exclusions)
• Not redeemable for cash
• The gift certificate cannot be used towards wedding photography, dress alterations, or any balance outstanding on existing special orders.
• The gift certificate must be redeemed and used by Feb 14, 2010
